We have taken the title of Qualified European Festival

On the 28th of November, in a solemn ceremony conducted by the Hungarian Festival
Association, Zoltán Lenkefi director of the Napsugár Puppet Theatre received the title of
Qualified European Festival, which was applied for by our theatre with the International
Puppet Festival.
Nearly 1,000 entries came from 39 countries. A total of 30 festivals from Hungary have won
the honorary title including the International Puppet Festival, which started 50 years ago and
will be held in the year 2018 for the 17th time.
